Aerobics Class Descriptions

Cardio and Strength Conditioning
A combination of cardio endurance methods to include basic Step and Hi/Lo Impact Aerobic floor movements, as well as strength/muscle conditioning exercises for a total body workout.

Circuit Training
A mix of strength training and cardio pumping exercise. With some weights and resistance bands, super set muscle building exercises will be combined with cardio blasts of kick box, step and hi-lo aerobics.
This class is geared for intermediate to advanced fitness levels.

Cardio Blast and Conditioning
This class is a high intensity step aerobics for approximately 40 minutes, followed by weights and/or resistance training with abdominal work.

Cardio Boot Camp
This fast-paced interval training class uses a mix of cardiovascular and strength training moves, such as push ups, jumping jacks, sit ups, lunges, squats, plyometrics, football style drills, and more. You will be motivated each and every week to increase the intensity of your workout, and you will have fun doing it.

Turbo Kick
Turbo kick is the hottest exercise class around! Sure, it's kickboxing, but it's so much more! You'll kick, punch and groove the calories away in this action-packed, super fun, super safe and effective cardiovascular workout.

PiYo
This blend of Pilates and Yoga is designed to develop your muscular strength and endurance while simultaneously improving balance and
flexibility. Challenge your body and mind with this all-encompassing
class. Beneficial for every level of fitness.

Step & Pump
One hour step interval class that combines high-intensity step combinations with low intensity muscle conditioning. Work your whole body to achieve improved cardio fitness and muscular endurance!

Cardio Aerobic Dance
One hour floor aerobics class that combines fun and easy choreography with the greatest dance hits you know and love. In one class, you will salsa, shimmie, swing, jive, do-si-do, and funk all the while you are blasting calories and having fun!

Jassercise Step-Circuit Training
Jazzercise's trademark choreography is specially adapted to create an original step aerobic class that's anything but routine. The low-impact, high intensity workout is a great way to add variety to your personal fitness program. Featuring a proven combination of aerobic exercise and strength training with weights, resistance tubes, and balls, this Jazzercise workout covers all the fitness bases as you cross train your way to a fit and fabulous look.

Group Cycling
Group Cycling is a unique program based on the outdoor cycling methods of competitive cyclists. This class incorporates various resistances
(gears) with the appropriate RPM's for maximum rider efficiency and safety. Participants will learn the proper techniques necessary to experience higher VO2 levels for increased cardiovascular performance and greater caloric expenditure. First timers need to allow a little extra time for orientation and proper bike set up. This 50-minute class truly accommodates all fitness levels. Bring water!

Water Aerobics
This course incorporates deep water running and similar drills or sets of same intensity with muscular training sets to provide an effective class with calorie expenditure that are equivalent to cardio land based classes. Please dress in PT uniform, swim suit or swim trunks.

Power Yoga
Power yoga is a series of postures or asanas that incorporate breath with movement in a rigorous, flowing pattern. Utilize your own body's resistance to increase your mental and physical strength while improving your flexibility.

Zumba
Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. The name Zumba is derived from a Colombian word meaning to move fast and have fun. It utilized the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. It's a way of mixing body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps.

NOTE: All classes contain segments of abdominal and other toning exercises when time permits. Please inform instructors of pregnancy or any physical limitations so they can assist you. Classes are programmed according to the demand of customers and availability of instructors.
