DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administers rules and regulations within the confines of the
designated Flea Market area or controlled property. Enforces rules and
regulations governing traffic control, parking and facility access by
proper identification card, ticket, or receipt. Protects the designated
property from trespass, theft, fire and willful or accidental destruction.
Reports all problems and complaints to the security guard supervisor.
Maintains a cooperative and courteous working relationship with Flea
Market patrons and vendors. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have training or experience which demonstrates
ability to enforce policies and procedures and deal with potentially
explosive situations in a professional and courteous manner. Must demonstrate
a positive, outgoing personality and ability to communicate effectively.
Must also be capable of restraining or removing unruly patrons from
the facility. Must be willing and able to work an uncommon tour of duty
to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 18 years
old to work in an area where alcohol is served.
