Kadena Tennis Center

Tennis lovers have plenty of opportunities to hit the courts on Kadena. The Kadena Tennis Center offers instruction and tournaments. We have 11 tennis courts 6 of which are lighted. We offer private and group lessons for players of all skill levels. Call the Kadena Tennis Center to arrange a session that is right for you.

Kadena tennis team captures Okinawan championship 4/9/2008 - The Kadena tennis team poses after winning the Okinawa Team Championship Tennis Tournament in Naha April 5. The Kadena tennis team has won the title for three consecutive years. The team consists of six Japanese employees who work at Kadena. They will play in the national team tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, May 31 and June 1. Pictured are (top) Hiro Iijima, Naoki Uchida, and Dai Yonamine, (bottom) Ken Higa and Kyomi Kinjo. Group Tennis Lessons
Six times a day on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Four one-hour lessons:
$35 • adult
$30 • child

Tennis Tournaments
Scheduled on odd numbered months
Entry fee is $20 per person.

Racquet Services
You can have your tennis and racquetball racquets restrung for a fee of $8 plus the price of string.

Ball Machine Rental
The ball machine is available for your daily practice. Rental fee is $5 per hour and includes tennis balls and racquets.

The Risner Sports Pro Shop carries a wide selection of fitness, running, basketball, softball, football, soccer, cycling, racquetball, and tennis gear. No matter what your favorite sport, you will find the gear you need!
